Some of the biggest reasons people play without sound are because they are raiding and therefore in Ventrilo/Teamspeak, or because they like to listen to their own music while playing. (Admittedly, I’m in the latter. I love listening to my own music while pwning faces). My boyfriend ALWAYS plays with his sound on, which is always a friendly nudge to me to turn mine on.

So I’m curious. Do you play your MMOs of choice with sound on or off? Why?
